World expresses high expectations for Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea - Korea National Day held in Zaragoza -
Korean National Day at the Zaragoza Expo was held on July 16th attended by dignitaries that included Vice Minister for Knowledge Economy Jae-Hoon Lee, Korea Ambassador to Spain Tae-Yeol Cho, Inspector General of Yeosu Expo Oraganizing Committee Beom-Seo Choi, and Zaragoza Expo General Commissioner of Spain Emilio Fernandez-Castano.
The highlight of the day was artistic performances presented after key persons’ speeches. Korea’s unique and creative stages, that presented traditional beauty of Korea, enchanted 1500 audiences.
Meanwhile, many dignitaries including Chairman of the 2012 Yeosu Expo and Mayor of Yeosu are scheduled to attend the closing ceremonyof the Zaragoza Expo on September 14th. At the ceremony, the BIE flag will be handed over to Korea, the host of the next World Recognized Exposition.
